Dean Gainey is the owner and founder of Advantage Realty Group, Inc., Gainey Construction Company, LLC and Southeastern Rentals, LLC.

Dean's career in Real Estate began in 1985 and expanded rapidly when he started Gainey Construction and later added Southeastern Rentals to his business ventures. Over the years, he has enjoyed having the honour of being the number one independent Real Estate Agency as well as the number one independent construction company in Sumter.

In 2018, Dean was inducted into the Sumter Board's Real Estate Hall of fame. Among his other accomplishments, he served on the Sumter Board of Realtors for three years. He was an officer in the Home Builders Association for five years and and on the HBA board for twelve years.

He is a Sumter native and married to Susan Renee Gainey. Dean attributes his success to surrounding himself with wonderful friends and loyal people.
